I read in the book "Poke-Wonder: Shiny pokemon" that most magikarp look like this:

Although i REALLY doubt we'll ever have one. The universal rate for any pokemon to appear in this so-called shiny form is...ah! here it is......1 in every 8172 enconters, as well as the number 8172 doesn't decrease with every encounter, so every time you find a pokemon, it will still be 1 in 8172......slim chances, huh?
